At The Newman Review, Dr. Hanna-Barbara Gerl-Falkovitz told Jennifer Bryson the adventuresome story about how the unpublished manuscript of the book by Ida Friederike Görres on John Henry Newman surfaced in Munich in the 1990s and how she got a hold of it to ensure it would not be lost to history.
Dr. Gerl-Falkovtiz also reflects on what she learned about Newman while editing the German edition of John Henry Newman: A Life Sacrificed.
